My newest addition now on display through this weekend at the Edmonds Arts Festival...

Join me this weekend for a wonderful event in Edmonds, WA. My first time participating in the Edmonds Arts Festival is sure to be a fantastic experience! Show hours are as follows:

Friday 11am - 9pm
Saturday 10 am - 8pm
Sunday 10 am - 6 pm
For a MAP of the event click here.

Also sneak by the Cole Gallery in Edmonds this Saturday for your chance to see some fantastic artist's on display (including myself) as well as enter to win 1 of 2 FREE $200 gift certificates! They will also be giving away one of my little Tree Charm Necklaces for during the artist reception that evening!

And... thank you thank you thank you... to everyone who contacted me or left me wonderful comments on my blog and Facebook - you all gave me wonderful ideas and suggestions on how to handle my lighting question in the previous post. I decided to wing it and just see how it goes with out any "juice" this weekend and learn from the experience... it was just too late to come up with a solution so last minute.

Interested in seeing how the event unfolds this weekend? Pop over to my Fan page on Facebook, click the "like" button and check out the pics from the show while I am there during the day!

Hope to see some of you in Edmonds! (and thanks for your support! You guys rock! "whoop whoop!")

This painting rocks! I love the contrast between the greens and reds - so vibrant and eye catching! Best of luck for the weekend, I'm sure you'll knock 'em dead!

I had a peek at your website earlier and your 'In your pocket' series reminded me of a series of works by the sculptor Henri Gaudier-Brzeska. He would make small carvings which you could carry in your pocket with you. People would play with them as they spoke and of course talk about them too, so they become two-fold 'conversation pieces'. Figures such as Ezra Pound and T. E. Hulme (friends of Gaudier-Brzeska) were owners. I have a replica which is just fabulous. Your paintings are similar! People should actually carry them with them!

This is such a great piece! Hope your weekend was good, its bloody hot here in Ontario!! Unless I'm on vacation I have no use for 30 degrees C weather!! LOL! My latest project is something my 7 year old nephew has requested...I find myself procrastinating on his "Grave Digger" monster truck painting... How could I say no to the only person who truly thinks I'm an artist?! LOL! He gave me his dinky car version of the truck which now sits beside my easle begging to be painted. *sigh* wish me luck, hopefully he doesn't get over the monster truck phase before I finish! Tata for now!
